About the ZZ Plant

The ZZ plant is a modern must, a real Instagrammer's plant. They’re a hardy specimen requiring little maintenance.

Its glossy green leaves reflect the light and brighten up any space. They have an unusually tall and elegant shape that bursts out into leaves - we can see why it's a must-have.

The ZZ Plant is a succulent, meaning they retain water and don’t require a lot of watering. Commonly referred to as the Eternity Plant, these extraordinary plants are known for their hardiness and longevity.

Native to Africa, this plant is able to withstand drought and low light conditions,  making it a perfect low maintenance and beginner plant.

House Plant Care

Zamioculcas' are capable of tolerating shade and is happy anywhere from low to bright light.

Water these plants only when the soil has completely dried out, and has been dry for several days. Overwatering is the most common issue encountered by owners of this plant so infrequent watering is recommended.

We advise feeding this plant with fertilizer once a month during the summer growing period. They are a slow grower but can reach over 150cm in height with time.

These plants are considered to be toxic if ingested so it is best to keep them out of reach of curious children and pets.

Your ZZ currently lives in a 17cm nursery pot. ZZ's have exceptionally dense roots and are known to break pots as they grow. They, however, prefer to be somewhat pot bound with little extra compost around them.

They're 70cm in height from pot base to leaf tip.

They usually reach 90-120cm in height. But can grow up to 1.5m with the right care and attention.

Whilst we maintain the best standard possible, plants can vary slightly from the photograph from season to season.
