About the Snake Plant

The Snake Plant, commonly referred to as Mother-in-law’s Tongue is a robust and effortless plant. Their durability and ease make them a popular houseplant in both home and work environments. Snake plants are tall, architectural & sturdy with a zig-zag pattern spread throughout their thick foliage. 

This towering plant is native to Africa. It’s a succulent that is adapted to dry, hot environments. It’s water storage capabilities mean it doesn't need to be watered too often. 

House Plant Care

Light

This plant will thrive in bright light but can handle some moderate to low light. 

Water 

Allow the soil to dry out completely in between waterings. This plant is a succulent, and doesn’t need to be watered too often. Dry and dusty soil is normal.

Tips

Snake Plants are a slow grower but with patients will reach up to 2m in height.

Toxicity

These plants are considered to be toxic if ingested so it is best to keep them out of reach of curious children and pets.

Size

Your Snake Plant currently lives in a 12cm diameter nursery pot. 

They're 50cm in height from pot base to leaf tip, and can grow to be roughly 100cm tall.
