With its highly ornamental appearance, thanks to the saucer-like, glossy green leaves and thick stems the Peperomia Obtusifolia, or Baby Rubber plant makes for an alluring addition to any indoor setting.
Whilst not a member of the succulent family, these plants share similar characteristics making them an excellent option for the beginner houseplant enthusiast. These plants are relatively drought-tolerant, as they store water in their leaves, making them capable of withstanding mild laxness.
The Baby Rubber Plant is a part of our Child & Pet-Friendly Range.
Care
Light:
These indoor plants prefer medium to bright light in a spot where they will not experience intense, direct sunlight.
Watering:
Baby Rubber Plants are drought tolerant and prefer to be watered when their soil completely dries out. In the summer months, this can take over a week.
Tips:
They come from a rainforest environment so they like to be misted occasionally, but they are an easy-going plant that will survive in most household environments.
They have a compact root system so they don’t need to be repotted often, making it an ideal office plant.
