This evergreen climber commonly carpets the wild landscape of Ireland, from trees and cliffs to rocks. Yet is suitable for both indoor and outdoor locations.

Small dark, dangling leaves are decorated in tiny pale veins that quickly grow. This plant will wrap around nearby objects to hold onto. An outdoor classic, that injects some animation into any indoor collection.

Your Irish Ivy currently lives in a 13cm diameter nursery pot.

They're trailing 40-60cm in length from pot base to leaf tip and can trail several meters in length.

Care Guide

This plant thrives in bright light and enjoys some direct light. Ivy is also content in shade and can withstand varying temperatures.

Water when the soil begins to feel dry, but avoid letting it dry out completely. Ideally keep the watering regular, roughly once a week, and potentially more in the growing seasons. It's always best to test how the soil feels before watering. Leave it alone if it feels moist.

This plant is an avid trailer, making it a great addition to bookshelves or hangers. It can be kept both indoors and outdoors and large, mature Ivy can withstand the frosty winters in Ireland.

These plants are considered to be toxic if ingested so it is best to keep them out of reach of curious children and pets.

Your Hedera - Ivy are fast and vigourous growers. They are capable of growing several meters in length.
