 About the Fiddle Leaf Fig

The popularity of the Fiddle Leaf Fig is significant. This tall, sculptural plant has been dominating space in the chicest of homes & offices for several years now.

Each leaf is exceptionally verdant, possessing a sun-catching shine and marked with delicate veins.   Leaves grow in an upward motion, perfectly filling vertical space.  They can be pruned and shaped, styled to grow as a single tall stem, or cut and notched to cause the plant to branch, reaching outwards throughout its space.

Native to rainforests in Western Africa, Fiddle Leafs grow in a warm, humid environment.

Your Fiddle Leaf Fig currently lives in a 17cm diameter nursery pot.

They're 70cm in height from pot base to leaf tip and can grow to be several meters tall.

Whilst we maintain the best standard possible, plants can vary slightly from the photograph from season to season.

Care Guide

Fiddle Leaf Figs require a bright space to thrive. This indoor plant will not appreciate being in low light or shade. A south-facing window or room is best.

Consistency is key with regards to watering. Water when the soil begins to dry out, but test regularly with a water meter or your fingers to ensure the plant is not dry for extended periods.

Wipe the leaves down to remove dust, allowing for optimum light absorption. Keep away from cold & draughty spots in your home. Fiddle Leaf Figs can be propagated by taking cuttings from the main stems, which is also a good way to get your Ficus Lyrata to branch out.

These plants are considered to be toxic if ingested so it is best to keep them out of reach of curious children and pets.

Your Ficus Lyrata - Fiddle Leaf Fig can reach heights of several meters tall with time and appropriate care.
